ARTIST STATEMENT
Permanence is first and foremost a reflection of existentialist thought through an experimental lens in the form of a clothing collection. It aims to put into physicality the aspects of one’s life that drives one to live. It takes religion and work (two of hundreds of aspects) and brings them into existence as clothing.
The word permanence means to remain unchanged; hence the aspects of life that drive one to live that don’t change. Second, it is a self-reflection of everything I have learned, achieved and overcome to get to this point.
