ARTIST STATEMENT
I’m Xenia Byramji, a creative focused on artistic and spiritual growth through visual communication. My goal is to make a positive impact through design by gaining the necessary skills and knowledge. This capstone collection explores the connection between earth and spirituality, using fabric opacity to convey the transition from human to spirit. As a follower of Zoroastrianism, a monotheistic religion emphasizing humankind’s relationship with nature, I incorporate responsible production practices into my work.
